KAI-CHEN LEE

1990 born in Taiwan, lives and works in Taipei, Taiwan.
Lee Kai-Chen often searches for the neglected items in life, by collecting them, one will perceive the land one
lives in. These items are restored and reinstalled to further establish connections, as if endowing them with new
lives, forging a bond that cannot be described by words. Through the constant strokes of ink lines, the humid
smell of blooms, the traces of subtle brush strokes, and the lamination of paper’s fiber, the artworks resonate
with the commonly discussed subjects: time, memory, and loss.
