Artist Statement

Guo Bing-En’s practice explores the intricate relationship between everyday objects and the diverse carriers of human experience. His multidisciplinary work encompasses painting, writing, sound, and sculptural installations. For Guo, the essence of creation lies in capturing the perpetual flux of life. Each work functions as a repository for the process of thought and the physical traces of its making. By interweaving art with the fabric of daily life, he invites the viewer’s gaze and physical presence to activate the work, unfolding his identity as a creator through the observer’s engagement.
